چکیده
Abstract Composite nanoparticles (NPs) consisting of lignin and different polysaccharide (PS) derivatives were prepared. In this synergistic approach, the PS derivative acts as biocompatible matrix that forms spherical NPs while is a functional compound with therapeutic potential (e.g., antioxidative, antimicrobial, antiviral). Organosolv three (cellulose acetate/CA, cellulose acetate phthalate/CAPh, xylan phenyl carbonate/XPC) used in study. Nanocomposites particle sizes range about 200–550 nm containing both types biopolymers are accessible by dialysis organic PS/lignin solutions against water. particular, XPC CAPh, which contain aromatic substituents, found to be suitable for incorporation within nanomatrix. The present work paves way future studies pharmaceutical biocompatibility composite tailored properties investigated.

15 صفحه اولEncapsulation of gold nanoparticles into self-assembling protein nanoparticles
BACKGROUND Gold nanoparticles are useful tools for biological applications due to their attractive physical and chemical properties. Their applications can be further expanded when they are functionalized with biological molecules. The biological molecules not only provide the interfaces for interactions between nanoparticles and biological environment, but also contribute their biological func...
متن کاملSelf-Assembling Siloxane Nanoparticles with Three Phases
Inorganic nanometer-sized particles (nanoparticles) are attracting attention as reinforcing fillers for use in polymer-nanoparticle composites (nanocomposites) because they improve key characteristics of these composites at a relatively low content (Hussain et al., 2006, Jordan et al., 2005). For example, clay nanoparticles (Usuki et al, 2005), metal oxide nanoparticles such as silica (Rosso et...
متن کاملHydrophobic interactions modulate self-assembly of nanoparticles.
Hydrophobic interactions constitute one of the most important types of nonspecific interactions in biological systems, which emerge when water molecules rearrange as two hydrophobic species come close to each other. The prediction of hydrophobic interactions at the level of nanoparticles (Brownian objects) remains challenging because of uncontrolled diffusive motion of the particles. We describ...
متن کاملMorphological Diversity and Polymorphism of Self-Assembling Collagen Peptides Controlled by Length of Hydrophobic Domains
Synthetic collagen mimetic peptides are used to probe the role of hydrophobic forces in mediating protein self-assembly. Higher order association is an integral property of natural collagens, which assemble into fibers and meshes that comprise the extracellular matrix of connective tissues. The unique triple-helix fold fully exposes two-thirds of positions in the protein to solvent, providing a...
